BSSH Conference 2014: Draft Programme and Registration/Payment Details

The British Society of Sports History (BSSH) 32nd Annual Conference

Friday 5 September – Saturday 6 September 2014
at Leeds Metropolitan University, City Campus

Confirmed Keynote Speakers are:

  • Professor Kevin Jefferys (winner of the BSSH Lord Aberdare Book Prize 2013)
  • Professor Patricia Vertinsky, invited to deliver our annual Sir Derek Birley Memorial Lecture. 

We are also delighted to welcome Professor Elizabeth Wilson to the event, opening proceedings on Friday 05 September with a lecture based on her latest book ‘Love Game: A History of Tennis, from Victorian Pastime to Global Phenomenon’.
