For those interested in joining the BSSH (which we hope you are if you're on this page), a year's membership of the BSSH costs £40 (GBP) for waged members and £20 for students, retired or unwaged members.
As a BSSH member, you have the benefits of free access to our quarterly academic journal Sport In History in both digital and print formats, and reduced registration costs for our annual conference and other BSSH events (which more than covers the annual membership fee!). You will also be added to the BSSH membership mailing list (unless you state otherwise), where you will receive messages regarding important information about the society, our annual conference in addition to opportunities for academic teaching, TV work and other exclusive pieces as well as discounts on selected books or from publishers (just to name a few perks).
If you would like to become a member, then simply complete the registration and payment form! In addition to sorting out payment, you will need to create a password for this website - this will give you access to members-only content, and access to digital copies of past editions of Sport In History as mentioned as well as digital versions of the current year of two other journals in the International Journal of the History of sport (IJHS) and Sport in Society.
