These grants are designed to support members of the BSSH to present a sport history paper at a conference.

This award is intended to help independent researchers undertake original research in any area of sports history.

The award is intended to help you as an ECR undertake new original primary research in any area of sports history, which may lead to a demonstrable output in support of the charity’s goals (including publications).

The award is intended to help you as a PGR undertake new original primary research in any area of sports history, which may lead to a demonstrable output in support of the charity’s goals (including publications).

Funding is available for research dissemination events which are consistent with the interests and aims of BSSH, or demonstrate the intention to enhance integration of sport history with other sub-disciplines.

These grants are designed to support multiple members of the BSSH to present a sport history panel at a conference: a great opportunity to engage with other fields and disciplines as well as our own.
