Join us!
We welcome all new or returning members. Annual membership fees for the BSSH are as follows:
- £40/year for waged members;
- £20/year for students, retired or unwaged members;
- £320 for lifetime membership.
As a member of BSSH, you benefit from free access to our quarterly journal Sport In History, and reduced registration costs for our annual conference and other BSSH events.
To join, simply complete the registration form below, and have your credit or debit card handy to make the payment.
We have made some changes to our memberships. Please read these carefully!
- Annual membership now runs for a year from your sign-up date (e.g. from 1 September 2023 to 31 August 2024)
- Your membership will automatically renew unless you choose to join for one year only
- You can cancel your membership at any time without penalty
- If you sign up for one year only, you will receive two reminders from us to let you know your membership is about to expire.
We hope these changes will make joining and renewing your membership significantly easier than in the past.
