We actively encourage and support sports history in the UK and beyond, through academic research and community projects, and by supporting individual enthusiasts. We collaborate with the museum and heritage sector, with higher and further education institutions, and the broader public media. Every year we look forward to bringing our membership together at our annual conference.

Participate in Our Annual Conference
Our annual conference is a focal point for scholars, practitioners and enthusiasts alike.
The BSSH Annual Conference 2025 is scheduled to take place from Thursday 21st-Friday 22nd August 2025 at the Belfast Campus University of Ulster.
There will also be a PGR/ECR day on Wednesday 20th August 2025.
